Global Protect allows users to access the Moira network without having to go through Citrix. An internet connection is required for global protect to work successfully. 

 

Instructions to sign on to Global Protect:  

 

Make sure your computer is connected to internet. 

 

If you need to test that your computer is connected to the internet, try accessing https://www.moira.vic.gov.au. If you can get to this website, you are online.  

 

 

From your start button find the app Global Protect 

 

OR 

 

Click on the global protect icon in your task bar      

                        

 

 

OR

A window will pop up. 

 

 

Type in 

 

prelogon.moira.vic.gov.au

 

and click connect 

 

 

 

Enter your username and password (your computer logon) 

 

Click sign in 

 

*If you are connecting from the office while still on the network, you will not have to complete this step*

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You should now show as connected to the network. 

 

You will have access to everything you usually would at the office.
