In order to schedule/host a GoTo Meeting, you will need to have a GoTo account. If you do not have an account or you aren’t sure if you have one, contact IT.  IT will either set you up with an account or advise you who from your team already has a GoTo account. 

 

There are two methods of booking a GoTo meeting: 

  1.  Scheduling a meeting from the GoTo application
  2.  Scheduling a meeting from the online version of GoTo 

 

OPTION 1: SCHEDULING A MEETING FROM THE GOTO APP ON YOUR PC  

  1. Open the GoTo application 

 

  1. Click on Schedule New Meeting

  1. Enter meeting details 

- Meeting Name

- Meeting Date

- Meeting Time 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Click on Save

 

 

  1. A box will pop up advising the meeting has been scheduled in your Outlook calendar.

 

Click OK 

  1. Fill out and send a calendar invitation 

 

An Outlook meeting will automatically load

 

  • Add the people you want to send this meeting invitation to

 

  • Enter a location if required 

 

  • Click Send 

 

 

 

The people you invited will get the access code to enter the meeting and use it to join on the day.  

STARTING THE MEETING: 

 

On the day of the meeting, open your GoTo application. Select the correct meeting, and click Start. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

OPTION 2: SCHEDULING A MEETING FROM GOTO WEB ACCESS


This is how you can still access and use GoTo Meeting even if you don't have the app installed on your computer. 


Open Google Chrome and go to https://global.gotomeeting.com/

https://global.gotomeeting.com/

 

Sign into your account 

Click on Create Meeting

Enter meeting details 

 

Click on Copy Invitation 

Paste the invitation into the body of an Outlook meeting invitation. 

 

Send the meeting invite to whoever you want to attend the meeting. 

 

 

 

STARTING THE MEETING:

 

When you need to start the meeting, log back into your account at https://global.gotomeeting.com/

 

Find your meeting in the list and then click Start.
